My name is Migue Martí
and I’m a graphic designer. I have developed
all kinds of design projects, editorial, packaging, poster design, illustration, and product design. But without a doubt
the construction of logos is the discipline that I enjoy the most. Logo design is an exciting process
that is full of details. The goal is to find the perfect shape that connects a brand
with its audience. Although there is no secret formula, there are rules to find the magic behind all great designs. Composition, typography and synthesis are some of the keys
to get rid of the unnecessary and find the essence of the brand. In this Domestika course
you will learn the tools to build a durable,
competitive logo full of personality. I’ll show you the bases
of a good logo with a professional finish. As final project you’ll develop
the design of a brand and adapt it to the necessary formats to present it correctly to the client. I will show you what a logo is, what are the different typologies, and the main characteristics that make for a good logo. We’ll study and analyze the brief to build an inspiring mood board, that will aid us
during the design project. Next, we will look for the concepts that best suit our project
and we will sketch it. Once we have developed our ideas, we will choose the best one
and start composing and using font and color correctly. To finish, we will save and export our project correctly. Then we will test
how it looks on applications such as business cards, letterheads
and social media. Lastly, I will show you
how to present our project correctly to our client. After the course
you’ll be able to conceptualize and create logos that reflect
