hi today we will go through a simple process to create this letter poster with the help of the mesin pixelate effect in Adobe Illustrator make sure to watch till the end first take the type tool and type your desired letter in a bold font you can search for black and you will find different types of bold fonts in my case I will use black font from the Gotham font family or moner at font family now right click on the letter and select create outlines grab the direct selection tool choose the left part of the letter hold the shift key and drag it to the left now swap its fill color to gradient go to effect pixelate and select Meesa tint here in Meesa tint window zoom out the preview so you can see the letter properly while you are adding the effect select long lines type and hit H okay once the pixel8 effect is applied take the gradient tool and adjust the effect on the letter go to object and select expand appearance so the effect applies properly now go to file and select place to import an image from your storage Drive choose the image and hit Place drag the image on the letter to place on the artboard board and click on embed now right click on the image and go to arrange and select Center back select both image and letter go to window and select appearance in the appearance panel click on opacity and click on make mask make sure to check mark the invert mask so the image Blends properly with the letter you can now change the background and you are good to go I hope you found this tutorial helpful make sure to leave a like and remember to subscribe to the channel for more content like this thanks for watching
